When The Word Saw Me

WHEN THE WORD SAW ME

The Word was in operation from the beginning:

 Genesis 1

v26)     And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

We are to exude and represent the image and likeness of God’s character and attribute which is love. God intended man (male & female) to have dominion.

v27)     So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

v28)     And God blessed them, and God said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it:

When the Word saw us, it said that we are blessed, and we are to be fruitful and multiply.  God created us to be productive and prosperous unto good works, unto that which is good, and unto that which is positive.

 John 1

v1)       In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

v2)       The same was in the beginning with God.

v3)       All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

v4)       In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

What Did the Word Say, When It Saw You?  And the Word Said,

Isaiah 55

v3)       Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, [even] the sure mercies of David.

That God’s mercy, unmerited favor, undeserved compassion will abound towards us.

v4)       Behold, I have given him [for] a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.

v5)       Behold, thou shalt call a nation [that] thou knowest not, and nations [that] knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.

v6)       Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

v7)       Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Because we were born in sin and shaped in iniquity, let us forsake our will and submit to God’s Will.

Joel 2

v12)     Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye [even] to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:

v13)     And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he [is] gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.

v19)     Yea, the LORD will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen:

v23)     Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first [month].

v24)     And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil.

v25)     And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

v26)     And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.

v27)     And ye shall know that I [am] in the midst of Israel and [that] I [am] the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.

v28)     And it shall come to pass afterward, [that] I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.

We need to see ourselves through the eyes of the Word of God.

Isaiah 44

v2)       Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, [which] will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen.

v3)       For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:

Isaiah 1

v19)     If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

v20)     But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken [it].

John 10

v10)     The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly.

Life – Zao (Greek)

  1. to live, breathe, be among the living (not lifeless, not dead)
  2. to enjoy real life
    1. to have true life and worthy of the name
    2. ctive, blessed, endless in the kingdom of God

       4.  of mortals or character

       5.  living water, having vital power in itself and exerting the same upon the soul

       6.  metaphor (figure of speech) to be in full vigor

  1. to be fresh, strong, efficient,
  2. as adj. active, powerful, efficacious

III John 1

v2)       Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosperand be in health, even as thy soulprospereth.

1)         Like unto the Hebrew boys, you may fee like you have been thrown in a fiery furnace and that the heat of calamity has been turned up in your life to destroy you.  But fret not, for the Word will step in the furnace with you, keep you from being consumed by the very thing that tried to destroy you.  The Word in turn will consume your adversary and foe; then promote you with blessings.[Dan 3:20, 26]

2)         You might be like unto Apostle Paul on your Damascus Road.  Going to do what is right your own eyes; seeking a way to the father without coming through the son.  But the Word saw you and knocked you off your horse of religiousosity, and gave you a divine encounter with God’s power.[Acts 26]

3)         You may feel like Naomi, everything that brought substance to your life has been taken away and you want to change your name to Mira, which means that God has dealt bitterly with me.  But the Word will show up to purchase and redeem you.  God will restore your life and nourish you in your old age.  Then cause you to nurse the young.  There is still wisdom and knowledge in you to be released to the youth.[Ruth 1:20; 4:10, 15-16]

4)         You may feel like your life has had nothing but struggles and giants.  That the battle has been great and the war raged against your life is unfair; that the odds are stacked up against you.  That the support your have in your corner is not enough to help you have victory over the circumstances.  But the Word comes to let you know, that like unto Gideon, you don’t need the amount of support you think.  For you are a “mighty man” of valor (courage).  The Word said, if I be for you, who can be against you. [Judges 8]

Regardless of our trials and tests,

Romans 8, says in

v37)     Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

v38)     For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

v39)     Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

For we walk by faith and not by (our) sight.  See yourself and those things concerning you, through the eyes of God.
