Statement of Beliefs

We believe that there is only one God, the Father almighty, creator of the Heavens and Earth. That the true and living God who is revealed in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, and yet they are not three, but One.

We believe that Jesus is the Christ, the only begotten Son, God, our Lord and Savior, the Emmanuel (God With Us).  We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived by the power of the Holy Ghost, and is the Seed of the Woman, born of the Virgin Mary.

We believe that Jesus Christ suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.  That Jesus descended into hell and on the third day he rose again, declaring that all power and authority is given unto Him, in Heaven and Earth.

We believe that Jesus Christ ascended into heaven and is now seated at the right hand of God, the Father.  And Jesus Christ will come again to judge the living and the dead.

We believe that all scriptures are given by the inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness. We believe that prophetic scriptures should be exalted at all times. Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.  For the prophecy came not in old times by the will of man, but Holy men of God who spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

We believe that the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

We believe that the word of God is living, and powerful, and sharper than any two edge sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit and of the joints and marrow and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

We believe in the seven unity of the spirit.  That there is one body and one spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling, one Lord, one Faith, one Baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.  But unto everyone of us is given Grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

We believe that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.  We believe that the wages of sin is death.  We believe that in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.  He was in the beginning with God, all things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.  In Him is life and the life is the light of men.  And the word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
